Your lyre was in perfect tune when it left our workshop, but like all musical instruments, will eventually need to be adjusted.
Starting with the A above Middle C (A4), and beginning with the bottom string, tune your Hummingbird pentatonic harp to the following notes:
A, B, C sharp, E, F sharp, A and then B.
Turning clockwise tightens the string (higher in pitch) and counter-clockwise loosens (lower in pitch).
And we found a FREE electronic tuner for you!
Piascore’s electronic tuner is so good that we use it at our warehouse to tune the Music Maker and Hummingbird lyres. For use with iPhone or iPad. Type “Tuner Lite by Piascore” in the search field of of Apple’s AppStore to download. You’ll love it.
